Meet Herr Krapp (played by Michael Emerson). Leo goes to his own life coach for advice.
Michael decided to “blossom within – not without- the world” and bought a new bachelor pad in the city! His first guest (after Bono) was his new roomie, Leo, who just moved out of his house with Charlie.
Here’s Charlie’s loneliest day where Leo won’t return her calls, Michael seems more appealing than ever, and even a flower won’t keep Charlie company.”
Gaye (Tarah Flanagan) is trying to do God’s good work on the streets of NYC today, but all she can think about is her cool, awesome, beautiful new friend Charlie, who often feels a little like God to her. Except God probably doesn’t buy sexy clothes to wear for her stupid husband, Leo.
Leo Darwin life coach, is down to two clients: Michael Yensbourg, genius and wife stealer, and actor (possibly crazy person) Jansen Pierson (Bill Heck) whom we see in episodes 2 and 12 of Season One. Let’s take a look at Jansen’s big audition. Thank god Alan Cumming isn’t there to see it.
Mel (Pete Bradbury), Leo’s friend and founder of Rage Yoga was instrumental in helping Leo be a better person… well, at least an angrier one. In this bite-sized episode, it’s Mel’s night with his daughter (Lynn Rosen’s progeny). Reading time has never been so nihilistic.
Leo’s life coach business is a shambles, he’s broke, and he’s separated from Charlie. He has sold his house and is about to move in with his new “roomie” when a neighbor comes to say goodbye.
Introducing Hope Costello as the girl
Leo’s friend Mel (Pete Bradbury) is the founder of Rage Yoga, but nothing – not yoga, not money, not even cuteness incarnate – can diminish his rage today. Especially when he comes face to face with a feeble old man at Duane Reade.
Charlie (Celia Keenan-Bolger) could really use someone to talk to since she and Leo are on the outs. But her older sister Reese (Dede Lovejoy) only thinks about one person…and her name rhymes with Reese.
As we wrap up Darwin for now, a final episode with our two lovable misfits.
